Dr. Alexandra Schoeny has extensive experience teaching in both classical and popular styles, including musical theater. An encouraging and thoughtful pedagogue, Dr. Schoeny strives to teach in an atmosphere of growth. Goal-setting is a collaborative process between student and teacher, balancing technique, artistry, and development.

In the studio, you can expect professionalism and respect for the individual in a caring, nurturing environment. With experience teaching students from beginner to post-graduate level, ages 10 - 60+, Dr. Schoeny is eager to meet you where you are and help you meet your vocal goals. In addition to performing internationally, Dr. Schoeny has been on faculty at Bucknell University, the University of Dayton, Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University and was an instructor at CCM (University of Cincinnati). She received her Bachelors of Music from Northwestern University, Masters of Music from the Royal Academy of Music (London, UK), Masters of Opera from the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague, and Doctor of Musical Arts from CCM. Her studio is based in Fort Thomas, KY, just across the river from Cincinnati.
